Welcome to our webpage! We're Kent and Allison Couch and we live in Washington, Utah. We're located just outside of St. George and are about thirty-five miles west of Zion National Park. We love residing in such an amazing part of our great state. As you can see, it provides a good springboard from which we start our adventures. We especially love the Great Basin area of Nevada, but also like to summit the many peaks of eastern Nevada, southern Utah and western Colorado.
Besides living in Washington, we spent twenty-six year in Hurricane, Utah and are transplants from Flagstaff, Arizona where we both grew up. Kent has had several different careers ranging from operating a Chick-fil-A, to working for America West Airlines and Farmer Brothers Coffee. He retired from Zion Lodge (2018) where he was the Assistant Controller for twenty-one years and currently works part-time at Utah Tech University as a "mail boy." Along with being a great mother, Allison has been a waitress for Little America Hotel and operated a forklift for twelve years at a Walgreen's warehouse.
We've known each other since junior high school, but we waited another fifteen years before we had our first date! That was thirty-seven years ago! We have one adult son and have been the owner of four wonderful Dalmatians. It was our son who got us interested in the breed and we've never regretted his choice. Chipper and Tahoe, have their own pages on our Home screen. We thought it only appropriate to include these two wonderful boys in our blog as they have been an integral part of our lives.
