Kent & I had a fun day of leaf peeping east of Cedar Breaks National Monument at Lowder Creek and Lowder Ponds. We hiked around the area and discovered at least 7 ponds, there's probably more. The gloomy skies made for some great photo ops. The temperatures were quite chilly and it did sprinkle on us from time to time. I don't think I have ever seen aspens so colorful, must have been the lack of sun.
Lowder Creek Ranch was used in the summer months to raise cattle from 1909-1917 |
