Two Islands One Paradise; St. Kitts & Nevis made for the perfect getaway. The clear blue green waters of the Caribbean are unbelievably beautiful, fun for snorkeling and collecting sea shells. We walked the beaches and watched the sunset. We visited historical sites and beautiful gardens; and made new friends along the way. Nevis Peak stretched our limits as we hiked the slimy muddy ascent using ropes straight up to the top of the volcano. The mud did come off but it took some effort. Kent mastered driving on the left, dodging potholes and monkeys; wipers on the left, turn signals on the right....making for lots of laughs. We hiked
Mt. Liamuiga with our
guide Al and four women. We enjoyed sweet raisin rolls and lemonade at the top as we looked into the crater's lake. Rest and recreation made for a relaxing time. O me monkeys!
