Oregon Caves
We arrived, early evening, at the Country Hills Resort in Cave Junction where we spent the night. Rising early, we headed up the road about fourteen miles to Oregon Caves and enjoyed a nice breakfast in the Coffee Shop at The Chateau, the historic lodge at the caves. We were able to get on the first 90 minute cave tour; afterwards we hiked along the one mile loop nature trail; here we met two motorcyclists from Eugene and Portland, Oregon; they were also on our cave tour.
